Alibaba, Aliexpress, Bean Lian Complaint - Scam Artists Galore, Bought From 4 Different Sellers In One Night And Received Nothing From Any.

Review by br6 on 2011-06-12
Sellers names are Bean lian and Jin liu, only posting there names because I spoke with these induviduals online and they were the operators of these scams through the alibaba and aliexpress website. Since being ripped off from these sellers I have learned that alibaba and aliexpress are in on the scams also, doing nothing to the sellers who do the crimes, even listing them as gold members nowing they are scams. If you must buy something off this site be prepared to loose your money. I used Paypal and still am having a hard time getting my money back. Its been over 40 days and Paypal won't resolve the issue in a timely manner, just keep getting "were investigating your complaint and need more time" bull, I am about fed up with Paypal too

Be wary of any generic MP3 player that looks like an Apple iPod or a generic tablet that looks like an Apple iPad. The generics are made to look almost identical to Apple's products, but would NOT work with iTunes. Chances are the generic iPad is a cheap Android tablet running Google Android 2.1 or 2.2, and would only download apps via a proprietary app store, not Google Android Marketplace. The fake iPod lookalikes can download MP3 files (such as via Windows Media Player), but not via iTunes. And any business with foreign-sounding names could be scam outfits. If you wanted a cheap tablet, the $99 Sylvania from CVS (plus $10-$20 for a micro SD card from Walmart) would have been a better value than risking buying from unknown or dicey websites or eBay sellers.
