Furniture Complaint - Sales person cheated

Review by srinidan on 2005-06-18
I have recentley purchase a sofa from the Local furniture store. After the 15 days from the purchase date, It started giving the problem. I spend about $600 on the sofa. When I called the sales person , he said he is going to send a person to look at the problem to repair. I have an argument with that guy that why did you sell a defect item to me. But he was saying he didn't know about it. but why should I buy a defect item by spend that much money. Today the repair guy came to my home took the soft in a such rough way in his truck to repair. I am very disturbed with this sale. Please suggest me how I can report or take an action on that rude sales person.

Thank you

You didn’t mention what the defect was, or even the store in question, but it took 15 days for you to start having problems. What makes you think the salesperson knew of it ahead of time? Unless it was off the floor, he never even probably saw the sofa. Sounds like his rudeness came in defense after being accused of “cheating”. They are taking it back and fixing it, right?

If your buying skills are no better than your use of English and your writing skills, then I can understand your problem.
