Kia- Huber Heights OH Complaint - Scratched my car
I am currently leasing a Kia Forte and have had it for 6months. I decided to take it to Kia for my first oil change, figuring that way since it's their car it would be in good hands. First thing that rubbed me wrong was that I asked that my mileage log be signed and dated for the service and I was told it was not necessary but they could do if I wanted them to. I had it filled out properly and signed for my own protection. So I drive off to work after the oil change and get out of my car to find a scratch on my rear bumper. I was pretty heated especially because they didn't own up to it. I called and the manager had me bring it back in to inspect it. He then told me to come back the next day for a estimate from the body shop manager himself and he would take care of it. I made a appointment with the body shop manager, when I got there he didn't know who I was at all. I told him my name, and he asked who my insurance company was. I said you won't need that information, I came in yesterday and someone scratched my car so I'm here for you to fix it. He quickly changed his tune and walked out to inspect my car. The body shop manager scratches my information on a piece of paper then tells me that it will need painted and they will get me in asap to fix it. He said it would be awhile since they were really busy. So, 7 days later I get a call from the manager and they are now denying the scratch. I am furious and will be taking them to court. It is their car! I've been nothing but careful with the car and actually washed it right before I had even brought it in for the oil change. I know every inch of the car and I know for a fact it was not there before I brought it in.
