Verizon Wireless Complaint - Service Contract Rip-Offs
PUEBLO, COLORADO -- I had my mobile phone service turned off at Verizon because I was moving out of their service area. I explained this to the representative, I said I would pay the last month bill if any. I was informed that I had a 2 year contract which was not until September and I would be billed $200.00 on top of the last month bill. I asked how the company can justify billing me $200.00 because I have no choice in the matter if there is no service in the area I am moving to. I was told this can not be helped, cause I signed a contract.
My advice use a cell phone company with no contacts or you may end up paying for service that you don't have and can't get. I have registered a complaint with the FCC.
