PODS Enterprises, Inc. Complaint - Property damage!?!

CLEARWATER, FLORIDA -- Ok, I used this service ONLY because I had no other options for the type of yard placement availability for the storage container, no one else would place one on a slightly sloped lawn. Except Pods.

First off, they are VERY pricey, and one quote from a customer service representative was over $200 less than the actual charges. So much for consistency and accountability, since when I complained about this, no one had "heard of this individual." Right. And I would be refunded $50 for my trouble: nope.

The pickup service fellow was very nice and very accomodating, the only redeeming thing from my experience.

I was called about an early drop off at my new location, could I go for this? and I eagerly agreed. It didn't come at all, til the following day, the day I had arranged previously. So much for wasting my day waiting on them.

The day it WAS finally due, I was told late in the afternoon, so I left to get some groceries about 1:00 pm, and when I returned, there sat the Pod, and whoever drove it and left it, plowed through an old cedar tree at the edge of the drive, breaking all kinds of branches. This tree is the only shade on the property. Those branches are now dying. Why on earth didn't the driver 1) arrive when I was told he would 2) plow through a tree, when in front of the tree would have been WAYYY better & safer.

So now I have a once beautiful landscaped cedar with broken dying branches, made worse by the guy who picked up the Pod, of course he had to pull the flatbed contraption back through the poor tree.

Would I recommend Pods? Not on your life. Too expensive, customer service is very lame, the resolution center is very lame, the drivers don't respect personal property. A good idea run by the wrong people....
