Delta Airlines Complaint - Online ticketing
My grandfather died and my parents needed to fly out of the country the next day. I booked the domestic leg of the trip on Delta. My brother offered to pay so I used his credit card online. The transaction went through without a hitch and I received the email itinerary. When my parents got to the counter to check in, they asked my parents for the credit card and just completely hassled them. My brother called the agent and finally after emotional distress and hardship about the reservation, my dad paid on his card. I called the corporate customer service rep and complained. She was useless and told me that it was my fault because I should have noticed a huge pop up that indicated that the credit card needed to be present at check in. While, no pop up ever appeared. She was so rude and completely infuriating. She told me to contact my ISP to have my browser checked! I went back to the site and twice, and guess what? No pop ups. I don't know what's more frustrating. The usless customer service rep or the agent agent giving a man mourning the death of his dad such a hard time.
