Red Lobster, American Blvd., Bloomington, Mn. Complaint - Bad food - Red Lobster food

Review by mollycatsmom3 on 2011-06-21
I ate at Red Lobster on 6-20-2011, the one on American Blvd. in Bloomington, Mn. NOT worth the money, that's for sure! I ordered the Shrimp linguini alfredo. Bad! First of all, there was one small stretched out piece of what looked like immitation shrimp (had red color to the back of it like immitation crab from the grocery store). It was a small amount of noodles, looked like it had been reheated. The taste, awful! Tasted very fishy, not at all like shrimp. Very disappointed. I would have complained about the food except our waitress seemed to be bothered that she had to wait on normal, pleasant folds, a party of four adults and three kids 14 and older. I wish I would have taken a picture of the food with my camera; it wouldn't have told the flavor of the awful tasting food, but it would have showen how it is nothing even close to the picture plate of that food dish they advertise on TV! Oh, and the salad was limp, limp, limp!!
I would not eat at that particular Red Lobster again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else.
I think some of these higher priced chain restaurants are cutting way too many corners. I would have been happier with a $3 fry from fast food places!
I rate this restaurant POOR!!

I don't like seafood all that much. But when I do go to RL I enjoy the cheddar bay biscuits and the salad

This sounds almost exactly what I would expect from Red Lobster - I ate there last maybe around 1984, and my experience was very similar.
