Burger King Complaint - Price did not match advertised menu price, false advertising customer not right, charged more than menu
MOLINE, ILLINOIS -- I just want to vent a little bit about my lunch time experience. My order included a Double Cheeseburger, among other items. The price on the menu that I was looking at and ordering off of stated 1.29 for a Double Cheeseburger, but upon inspection of my receipt found that I was charged 1.49. Yes only 20 cents different, at this point it is obviously more about the principle than the 20 cents. When I brought this too the staff's attention, plainly told that I was poop(Had to edit it to remove my vulgar language) out of luck. OK well hopefully they will change the price on the menu or at the least cover up the price, maybe a small piece of tape, so nobody else gets fooled by it. After eating my meal and biting my tongue nothing was done. I know its only 20 cents but I feel that what is advertised on their menu should be the price that I pay. Left a bad taste in my mouth, not from the food this time, but from the lack of professionalism of the staff. So if anybody asks me where to eat Burger King will not be on my recommendation list.
