Comcast Corporation Complaint - Comcast has the WORST cumstomer service
CALIFORNIA -- I called Comcast to have a second line activated in my house. The line is already in, Comcast needed to send a technician out to hook it up again. They told me they would come between the hours of 8-5pm. A week prior to the appointment , someone from Comcast called to verify the appointment. The day of the appointment, I called them to verify the time. They refused to give me anything more specific than the 8-5 window as noted above. At mid-day, I called to try to get a better window so I could run to the store.
By 5 pm, no technician had shown. I called Comcast and got put into their voicemail maze for almost an hour as I was shuttled from one useless phone operator to another. I finally reached a supervisor who told me the person who schedules the technicians had never actually scheduled anyone to come out to my house! Unbelievable. AND they refused to send anyone out that day as it was \"after hours.\"
Foolishly, I scheduled another appointment for several days later. I stayed home through the window I was given (12-4, a little better than the last one) and -- do you have to guess? -- NO ONE SHOWED UP!!!!
When I called Comcast, I was again subjected to their interminable voice mail maze, connected to ineffective operators who could do nothing more than apologize (they sure do have an endless supply of ineffective, but apologetic, employees).
The upshot of this story? These morons actually wanted to schedule a third appointment with me!!!!
I have lost two full days of work sitting here waiting for technicians who have not shown up. And they don\'t seem to see any of this as a problem.
I've switched to their competitor and so should you!
