Dr. David Grice Do PA Complaint - Extremely Rude, A Number Rather Than A Patient

Review by tonylawrence19 on 2011-06-23
My wife as limited English vocabulary. We ask for a interpreter which we received. Dr. Grice did not at any time through the visit, looked or attempted to look at my wife. My wife tried to explain her problem but he did not recognise her in any way. Dr. Grice's parting words "i don't need to her again, I can't help her any more".

Needless to she still has the problem. Please, please, contact me for more information. I am a retired school administrator and dealt with people for 30 years, this is not a pleasant task for me but I feel very necessary.

I'm not sure where you want to take this next, but is this a specialist or something that prevents you from just having her see another doctor, preferably one who can converse with her better?

What nationality is your wife? Look up the doctors in your area that have similar nationality sounding names. Hopefully, you can find a bilingual Dr. that can speak to her directly. Call and ask if they are bilingual or if they have bio's online that would also say which languages.

Or have your wife write down her problems and have them translated before she sees a doctor, have an interrupter there just in case there are follow questions.

Don't let one Dr. put you off... somewhere, there is a Dr. that will work out.
