Cricket Cell Phone Service Complaint - False advertisment - 15 dollar first month additional phone service

Review by terancehawks561 on 2011-06-24
I paid the 15 dollar fee and had the phone added. But the service was turned off after just 12 days. First of all they don't let you complain by phone to get an explination it has to be done by email. So I returned to store where I had the additional phone added. And mind you Ive had Cricket phone service for 2 yrs. and broad band for a year.

I had to pay 17 dollars to have service turned back on for 10 days. Needless to say after this I will no longer use there service.

Cricket seems to depend on signing up new customers for it's profits rather than retaining old ones. You may wish to file an additional complaint via http://www.fcc.gov/complaints

you paid a $15 fee to add a line to your account, you get the next 30 to 59 days free for the new line as long as the other lines are paid for. you were turned off b/c ou did not pay your bill. The $17 was a partial payment to get you phones back on and you get 10 days to pay the balance. What other company lets you do that?
