Aol's Bot Advertisements Complaint - I Am Sick Of Your Selling And Allowing Bots To Tie Up Rooms

Review by Maceire7 on 2011-06-25
WE PAY FOR YOUR SERVICE AND 15 BOTS TIME UP THE ROOM OF GENEALOGY CHATS WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN THEIR PORNO OR PICTURES AND all of us can't get into the room as there are only 24 spaces and with 18 bots which have noting to do with Genealogy sit there taking our space. This is ridiculous for you to sell this kind of junk when we pay to have your service.

At first glance I thought this was an offer of having sex with the bots!

People still go into chat rooms?
Posted by MRM on 2011-06-25:
A better question is... people still use AOL!

It's been a while since I visited AOL's chatroom. spambots really did them them in. I'm sure there's probably a few that still visit. Good review. I wouldn't recommend yahoos chatroom either.

I still use the "AIM" portion of it, for emailing.

I had no idea aol chatrooms still existed. I haven't been in a chat room in years and remember them being full of pervs and bots, lol.

I haven't used AIM in probably 5 years.
