Ashley Furniture Complaint - 5th Delivery of Damaged Goods
SCHAUMBURG, ILLINOIS -- I have had to stay home for 5 weekends, to wait for a non damaged dresser. When I called the store manager he acted like I was causing him a problem, and should be happy that they had given me discounts that they typically don't give. Because of THAT I should feel lucky. I explained that my negotiating a discount because of their competitors offering lower prices for the same dresser does not excuse them for delivering a damaged dresser with scratch and dents. He then after threatening to call his boss gave me $100 credit for my time. 3 more deliveries later, after promising to have his WAREHOUSE MANAGER check the dresser before it leaves for delivery, each time there was damage to each dresser. THis was the 5th time today that there was an obvious orange circle on the front of one of the drawers... I've called customer service # to be stuck in voice recording hell. The store manager isn't in until 3pm... so they couldn't call him because he was "off until 3pm" I am thinking HMMM I am wasting MY SATURDAY on my DAY OFF, but yet he can't call me until he gets in at 3pm??? Does that sound like my problem????
