I had a high bill I struggled to pay down. Got it paid down but still get disconnect notices
for $128.00 on top of my $200.00 bill. Try to get it extended but they say I had this bill for too long now and they won't extend it to my payday which is on the 8th and they are going to shut my power off on the 30th. I have a 8 1/2 month old baby in my home and that don't seem to matter to them at all. Txu suggested that I go through an energy assistance program, but who has time for that. Besides, when you go through energy assistance, they always tell you that they are booked up and can't get you in til after the due date so you still have to go without power. Also, TXU keeps telling me I am a valued customer, and I had TXU for 3 years and that should count for something, but it don't in their eyes. I am so disgusted with their service and the way they talk down to you like you don't know what you are talking about that I want to go to another service provider but they all charge such an outrageous deposit that I can't afford to pay, so I am stuck with piss poor TXU energy.
