Dish Network Complaint - Unprofessional, Terrible Customer Service and Hefty Hidden Fees
RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA -- Please avoid this company at all cost. The "deals" they may offer can change in an afternoon based upon the customer service representative you speak with on the phone. They offered us an upgrade to stay with them after our contract ended. When installation was supposed to be upgraded for us free of charge, I ended up being charged extra monthly anyway. The service technician sat in my family room talking to his girlfriend on the phone for 20 minutes while setting up my service and installed the wrong product. That "free" installation ended up costing me $40+$6 a month. When asked to fix the mistake, the customer service representative said that there was nothing they could do and we would have to pay the fees monthly anyway. The customer service representative said that the problem was out of their hands because we signed the paperwork when the technican left, not realizing that they installed the completely incorrect (more expensive)receiver. When my husband asked to speak to a manager after an hour of going back and forth about the mistake, the line was disconnected.
Definitely out to rip you off. Stay away.
