Boatshoes.com Complaint - Sinking boat
We have been looking for a specific boat shoe for my husband , who has a difficult shoe size. He wears a size 15. We found them on this web site and ordered them. We paid on Pay Pal and got the electronic confirmation of order. Two weeks later, the shoes had not arrived, so I went back to the web site, found a contact address and sent an e-mail to the company to track the shoes. No response. One week later I sent another e-mail. Still, I have not had a response to my inquiry. After two attempts, I called the company directly. As it turns out, the company did have the transaction recorded, however the shoes are on back order for SIX MONTHS. I asked the agent, why they had not contacted us to tell us the shoes we had ordered for the summer would not be available until Thanksgiving, he said we were only one customer. Well, unfortunately, that kind of attitude is exactly the reason I decided to write a review. Every customer is important, and this company did not seem to have any method to track orders once they are paid to make sure their products are actually available and delivered to people who have paid for them. We will not be shopping with this company again.
