Target Compliment - Cashier Added Once Line Became Long
ABINGTON, PENNSYLVANIA -- I went to Target last night with my wife to get a few things for my upcoming trip (travel sized toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, a few articles of clothing). We gathered everything up and proceeded towards the checkout lines. There were only two lines that were open, each had about 3 people in line (including the person who was currently checking out). We stood in a line and then 3 more people got in line within about a minute of us standing in line.
I saw a Target employee quickly rush to the next lane over and open up a new lane so the customers could check out. This helped ensure that the lines would remain small. I was impressed with how the Target employee recognized a potential problem and resolved it before any customer became annoyed at long lines.
