Lowe's Complaint - Beware, go elsewhere
TIMONIUM, MARYLAND -- This is by far the worst experience I ever had or I should say (having). I have a screened room that I wanted to take the screens out and put in windows. The salesman, Brent Upton promised me the world. I signed a contract 4/6/11. First of all he said I had to pay the whole thing up front, I can now understand why. My biggest goal was to have the job completed by Mother’s day which was May 8th; Brent promised to have the job completed by May 1st. It is now June 29th and Lowes tells me the next time they can come to my house to work on it will be July 12th for a half day and then July 18th for a full day. They are also supposed to put a French door in my house and so far the door came in wrong 4 times. Today they tell me today, a new door is being ordered and should come in next month. 3 weeks ago the manager promises me a 25% discount for my aggravation. A week later she tells me they can't honor the discount because there is not enough money in the job. I can go on and on, but I assume you can see what a nightmare this has been. If this job ever gets completed, I will write an updated review.
