You could do what I just did for 5 minutes and search the internet for reviews and comments.
I came up with it being a budget tv a rung below Vizio.

I think it's a total crapshoot purchasing electronic equipment in today's marketplace. I have heard they all use the same basic components, and there have been complaints about all brands on many sites. If the price is something you are comfortable with, and can afford comfortably if the unit fails within a couple years, then you probably aren't at any more risk than purchasing any other brand.

Good advice, saj80. I bought a Sony CRT tv about 7 years ago for roughly $600. I would have been really ticked if it failed prior to now, which it has not.
For my money, I am hoping to wait at least a few more years to switch to LCD. I've read too many horror stories. As you say, if you don't mind a full replacement within a few years, the brand may not matter. If I were in that position, I'd pay a little more for a better picture - the Hannspree has been nicked for that.
