DME ACCESS, INC Complaint - Disappointed in service and an in home salesman who misrepresented his product

Review by gg-girl on 2011-06-30
MONTGOMERY, ILLINOIS -- After paying $3,000.00 for a chair lift in my home, the defective plastic joy stick/key broke off in my hand after a few months of use. The impolite and rude repair man charged my husband and I $155.00 for a service call, labor charge and the cheap $2.00 part made in China or some such place. The warranty promised by the salesman was not honored. This company sells defective chair lifts and refuses to repair the item after they break down. This company is not recommended by the Better Business Bureau. I am not surprised.

I should have done my home work first. I did not know that I was dealing with crooks.

What did your written warranty say? A verbal warranty is only worth the paper it's written on.

most warranty's don't cover items that are things like handles, joy sticks, or other plastic parts that are touched and used daily. they only cover the major parts and motors.
