Homelite Complaint - Homelite generator

I bought a homelite generator last year and used it for a week. It started and ran well for that week but when I tried to start it again to add gas stabilizer for the winter it would not start. I took it to an authorized service outlet for warranty work and they said it was usually the carburetor that is the problem with these generators. That was the beginning of April. I called 6 weeks later after not hearing from them and was told they were waiting for the part from homelite. I called homelite and they said there is nothing they can do about it as the part is on back order. It is now July and still no part! I would never buy another homelite product and I recommend that nobody else does and would have to deal with having a useless product on their hands. Who knows when I'll ever be able to use it and if it will continue to give me problems if it is ever fixed? I'll keep you posted!
