OREGON, OHIO -- I was having a poster made, and I used a couple baby pics and 1 or 2 school pics. They told me I had to have a release from the photographer, there is no name on the photos, I said who do I call I don't know who took them. Theres no name on the photo! Meijers reply well they look professonal and we need a release. Me how do I get a release when I don't know who to contact! Are you nuts. Meijer reply, sorry we can't do it with out a release. What a joke!

They are following the copyright law. You can't blame the company for trying to avoid a lawsuit - even if it is 12 years ago. Some of the do-it-yourself machines even have a button to push to verify that the item is not copyrighted.
