Office Depot Complaint - Your office says I shouldn't have paid for computer virus infection. Want my $200 back

Sirs: I spoke to a representative of your company who insisted I had coverage for virus protection and that your company sells such protection for a $14. approx fee monthly. If that is true, then I demand repayment of almost $200. I was compelled to pay for a viral attack on my computer about 3 months ago. Your store representative told me no such coverage existed. Apparnetly he was mistaken. Based on the lengthy conversation with your representative who went to great lenghts to reassure me that such coverage is positively available through Office dept., and that he knows of literally thousands of computers that are being repaired pursuant to that coverage for free. Kindly refund my money that I spent at your Hemet store.

You would have to contact Office depot directly at www.officedepot.com and click on customer service or contact us. I doubt they read this board. Good luck!!

I can't quite understand your complaint. If you weren't paying for the the insurance, whether or not Office Depot offers it, it seems like you would have to pay for the service. I must be missing something.

If you were paying this $14 a month, and it includes coverage for viruses, then obviously you are due a refund. I hope you can find someone at OD to get it resolved.
