Scuba Express, Inc. Complaint - Failure of Scuba Express to ship order or give any information as to the status

Review by dgroberg on 2000-12-21
P. O. BOX 822003, FT. LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA -- On November 17 I order a TUSA dive computer through the web site of I received an immediate confirmation of the order along with an order number and a statement that I could request the status of the order any time by contacting them at I have never received the order or any reply beyond the first confirmation and the order number.

It is now Dec. 21. I had planned to give this to my son who is taking a scuba diving trip to Bali the morning after Christmas. If I had any information back from them,(no longer available, back order, approximate delivery date, etc.), I could have ordered it from any number of other places. With the order pending, and no information from Scuba Express, I couldnt do that. Now it is too late. And it seriously affects my sons trip, which is expensive in itself.

Scuba Express has caused me (and my son) a great diservice and has exibited total inconsideration of me as a customer. It would take some real effort on their part to regain my trust, and if others have similar experiences, Scuba Express may have trouble continuing as a viable company.

Support your local dive shop. They give advise, sell the right gear and service it.

You must be a real whinney person. Write two complaints about the same thing. Did you look to see this place does not carry TUSA. Maybe you placed your order at some other site.
