DirecTV Inc Complaint - Movie Money Certificate
Ever notice how Direct TV advertises 10$ Movie Credit or Buy One Get One? What you need to know is this offer is only good for a select few customers and NOT every customer. What the ads do not tell you is you must have a "certificate" in advance. Only if you have a certificate and you mail it in do you get the Movie Money Credit on your bill. Nowhere to download the certificates. A consumer might think you simply order two movies in a month as the ad suggests and BINGO you receive a credit on your bill. The very fine print states otherwise and they feel this is transparent. I have been a customer for >5 years and it is one of the most misleading advertisements I have ever seen and they continue. Call or write customer service and you get a very polite return e-mail that says absolutely nothing and they are still unwilling to make it right i.e. at least send you the certificates to make a claim. DISH here is an opportunity.
