LG Complaint - How Do We File a Class Action Lawsuit Against LG?
I bought my LG range from Home Depot in Oct 2008. Almost from the start, I had problems with the knobs peeling (they look like stainless steel but are actually plastic covered with a thermofoil. Also, the lids on the burners are chipping away (they haven't been dropped - I think it's just due to heat). Today, while cleaning my range, I decided I'd had it with the peeling knobs and decided to try and order replacements. I was shocked to find that they cost anywhere from $63- $75. This is an absolute rip-off. If they were solid stainless, it might be worth it but I refuse to pay that price for the same old crappy knobs that will fall apart again.
Based on what I have read here and on other sites, LG doesn't care about standing behind their product. I think there are enough people having this same problem that we could form a class action against the company. It isn't fair to expect the consumer to pay through the nose for something that shouldn't have fallen aprt in the first place.
