Someone is e-mailing other people from my e-mail and I am getting and error and when I look I see I did not send this message. There was a lady that calls herself (nativelady) that tried a few days ago to get my password which I would not give. Ever since this time I have seen where someone was trying to change my password. It happen a few minutes after she tried to get my password. This needs to be stoped, Dewey

Yahoo hacks are common. change your password, from a firewalled machine to something NOT in the dictionary.

For example: cat2765dog

It is very easy to clone a email account and make it look like you are the sender (without sending from your account or PC). The emails header section will prove your innocence if anyone complains. Otherwise like Raven suggests change your password and ignore it. It has happened to me a few times on my older business email accounts.

sounds like an email virus. has anyone sent you an email they received from your yahoo account? if so, check the header and verify it is not from your computer. if it is, you will need to run an anti-virus software as well as a malicious software checker.

A friend once sent me an email, and my security program alerted me to the fact that there was a virus and quarantined it for destruction. I let him know that his puter was infected and he got it taken care of. A virus that seizes your email account and sends copies of itself to everyone in your contact list is not uncommon. Get a good firewall and security program.

Another good trick is to enter a non-existant e-mail address such as supposedly this prevents the virus from actually sending out to the rest of the people in your address book.
