Wal-Mart Complaint - Terrible customer service
KINGSTON, NEW YORK -- We went to our local Wal-Mart this evening to exchange our empty propane tank for a full one. The station for doing this is just outside of the Garden Center. The cashier in the department was less than thrilled when we told her what we wanted and went off on a rant about how she works alone and doesn't even get a break let alone would be able to get us the propane. Last week when I went alone to get a tank the cashier nicely asked the people behind me to wait a minute and walked outside with me, transaction done in 3 minutes! We asked if she could call for help and she began complaining that her phone didn't work and again told us she didn't even get a break.
Leaving my husband to talk to her I walked to customer service where they immediately knew who I was talking about, stated she just returned from break and were very dismayed she would talk to customers like that. I paid for the tank there and the assistant manager walked back with me to get the propane. As he walked past her he asked her if she had her break and she stated she did.
He just shook his head and I wonder if she still has her job!
