Sears Repair Service Complaint - Terrible Customer Service
CALIFORNIA -- I called Sears on 6/20 to schedule an appointment to have dishwasher repaired - first appointment available 6/27, window 8-12 - repairman did not show up until 1:30 - no calls, called Sears several times and got someone in India or Pakistan - ugh! Did not have part - had to order - next available time for Sears to come back out was 7/8. Asked since I waited 5-1/2 hours and still not repaired to put me on first appointment time. Once again, waited 5-1/2 hours for him to show up - a total of 11 hours and he is still working on it. Called Sears several times with promise that they would have someone call me immediately to let me know approximately what time they would be here - no such call ever came. The repairman said they use to call customers in the morning and let them know when they would be there - Sears made them stop doing that and they give them so many people to see, they cannot get to everyone - not the repair person's fault just the way Sears does business.
I will never use Sears again ever, it will probably be a total of 13 hours of my time waiting for this repair. DO NOT USE SEARS - I hope this review helps someone save their time by not using this company for repairs of their appliances.
