Empire Carpet Complaint - So far, Just frustration! No carpet after 5 days!
TWINSBURG, OHIO -- We ordered carpet from Empire that was due to be delivered on Tuesday, July 5th. The installation did not occur because Empire said we did not have a confirmed delivery. Funny, my husband had the confirmation number in his hand. After many phone calls, of course our representative was "in a meeting," it was finally determined that a mistake had been made when our order was entered on their system. My husband wasted a day of vacation for nothing and we have no carpet on our first floor and part of the second floor. Delivery was scheduled for today, Friday, July 8th. Empire, still a no show! Of course, once again our representative is "on the other line" and has been for quite awhile with no return phone call even after the last fiasco. Now we are being told by customer service that our order was "cancelled" on July 6th by US!!! This just didn't happen. We did not cancel the order.
I'm sure that we will now be expected to go without carpeting for the weekend at a minimum and take yet more time from our jobs to accommodate their missed installations!
