McDonald's Corporation Complaint - Order Wrong and Produce Disgusting
Resolution Update on 07/10/2011:
Received an email from the manager yesterday evening:
Mam, my deepest apology for your recent experience at my store, i am the General Manager and i will make sure that it does not happen again to you or any of my customer. Please give us another chance to give you the kind of service you expect and deserve.
I am replacing your order for you, please come see us and order any combo on the menu board on us. Ask for me if i happen to be off ask for the duty manager. any problems call me on my cell XXX-XXX-XXXX you should not have any problems but if you ever do i will fix it on the spot.
My dad ordered dinner for me while he was out and went to the McDonald's inside Wal-Mart. I asked him to order a Grilled Ranch BLT Chicken Sandwich with a large combo and Coke. He told me he ordered exactly that. When he got home, he must have not looked in the bag because they gave him the Club Chicken sandwich instead which I think is gross anyway. The sandwich had cheese and mayonnaise instead of ranch sauce. Plus, the lettuce was absolutely disgusting. It was brown and slimy looking. The tomato looked gelatinous. I scraped them off and the mayo and put some lettuce on from home plus ranch dressing. I was able to salvage it. The fries were not crisp and tasted as though they had been sitting around too long. I think the only thing that was good was the drink.
I posted an email on their website with my comments and I hope to get a response back. Unfortunately, my dad didn't keep the receipt. I will definitely rethink my visit. It seems they are slowly going downhill at this location.
