Tire Pros Complaint - If Ya Can't Fix It Why Take It ?

Review by wheel4u2818 on 2011-07-09
Brought my Car To Tire Pros for State Inspection. First thing in the morning I get a call telling me my car Flunked emmisions test and my drivers side window does not go down (power). This was 8:30 AM. So I say OK well do what you gotta do. Tire Pro guy says we can't until we know what is wrong with both issues until we put it thru diagnostics. I say ok go for it. He says we can't we are all booked up today with diagnostics. I have an appt. for this inspection this day but he can't do it because he is all booked up. He should have never taken my car this day if that is the case.

Also why do you need diagnostics to find out what is wrong with my power window. Poor mgmt. My car is now held up for the weekend .

There is no guarantee that a shop has time to fix problems discovered during a state inspection the same day.

I've never heard of failing inspection for window operation, but your emissions problem definitely requires diagnosis. I'm sorry you are inconvenienced, but emissions failure can be one of several things.
