Aeroflot Complaint - Charged Twice - Plane Tickets

Aeroflot would not accept my computer tickets. They made me pay $3200 for new paper tickets. when I RETURNED HOME, THEY SAID THAT I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT ONE YEAR AND IF NOBODY USED THOSE TICKETS, THEY WOULD REFUND MY MONEY. NOBODY USED THOSE TICKETS. AEROFLOT REFUSES TO REFUND MY $3200. MY TRIP WAS IN THE SPRING OF 2008. MY TRAVEL AGENT HAS STOPPED IN THEIR NEW YORK OFFICE SEVERAL TIMES. ANY IDEAS?

What explanation did they give you for refusing to accept the computer tickets?

I'm a bit leery of your travel agent - as jktshff1 mentioned why the refusal? All registered travel agents book on a system ITA which pulls inventory (fare bucket exempt.) from an airline. A PNR issued by SU (Aeroflot). Your problem now is after exactly 365 days all old PNR's are dumped from the system - impossible to lookup now. Recourse? Speak to "revenue accounting" at SU and give them your old PNR and one you flew on.
