DEVIL TOWN, USA -- Since we have purchased out home we made a deal with the devils..vanderbilt... Every month when I comes time to pay my husband and I argue on whos gonna call in. They are rude harassing, and just down right nasty...your payment isn't even late and they want to know when you will be making the next... we were late a couple times by like two weeks and they refused payment I had to keep calling back till I got someone who took it...They ask you personal questions that are in no way any of their business...I have reported several time to the Better Business Bureau and recommend everyone else do the same...

Can you pay online or through an automated system instead? Might make your life easier.

Re-fi. If you haven't abused your credit privileges and are in good standing, you shouldn't have a problem. You'll most likely even get a better interest rate.

yes i recently started making payments on line which is so much better...nobody knows about these people till they have had a direct loan with em...all the reviews here tell the story....

It's never a good idea to tell reps to "bite me". That would give them less incentive to want to assist you. Wouldn't you agree?

thank venice but that is after they have said harrassing and unprofessional things to me which i can take for awile and when i cant take anymore i tell em where to go sometimes you just have no choice..and these people have no incentive to help anyone and i wasnt asking for help just trying to make a stupid payment...please

have been paying on a doublewide for 15 years now, i got a call today from vanderbuilt , my payment was 10 days late , gave me pure hell, even said i was a free loader,, so i asked what payoff was and it is still more than the trailor cost ..kept on coming up with reasons why the payments go up every year and why i still owe more than what we bought it for''
