College Life Laundry Complaint - Scam. Don't Use College Life Laundry‏

Review by NonaM on 2011-07-11

They will charge you like 7$ extra if your laundry is even half a pound over weight, which is impossible to tell since I don't have a scale in my dorm. Also, I've gotten back about 5 ripped shirts from them, and they refused to cover any cost whatsoever. Often it seems like they just run water through my laundry, because if there is even a grass stain on my cloths, it never comes back clean.

Don't get caught with their advertising and seemingly down-to-earth manner. They are a bad laundry organization.

Do you not have laundry facilities in your dorm since this service is doing such a poor job? I was in college 26 years ago but we had washers and dryers available to us.

I was just going to ask the same thing BEJ, regarding washers and dryers, which are always available in college dorms for those who do not go home every weekened with their dirty laundry.

OP, is this the only outside laundry service available for college students?

while I was in college, I trekked down the laundrette a couple times a month. while there, I would study.

Laundrette is the best place for studying, especially when its late or early in the morning.
