Travelocity Complaint - Travelocity is unreliable for booking
1400 FORT WORTH, TEXAS -- Booked and pre-paid 7 nights in the Holiday Inn Express Barcelona, Spain for 3 persons in the room through the Travelocity website.
Received the confirmation and printed the document.
When we reached the hotel The front desk manager told us they did not honor Travelocity reservations, that even that I paid for 3 persons in one room, Travelocity only paid for 2 persons.
Charged me 50 euros (75.25) additional per night ($526.75.
When baCk in US send a complaint to the Travelocity Customer Service, they replied that it was the way the front desk manager said.
Even that Travelocity charged additional for the 3 persons in one room, the Hotel had to charge for the 3rd person because of what Travelocity paid the hotel.
Be careful when booking in Travelocity, THEIR RESERVATION WILL NOT BE THE FINAL PAYMENT FOR WHAT YOU BOOK. THEIR PRICE WARRANTY DOES NOT EXIST.

With reference to the reservation with Express by Holiday Inn Barcelona as the reservation which was booked for Check-in:: Fri, Jun 17, 2011 and Check-out:: Mon, Jun 20, 2011. After reviewing the reservation you had booked the room 1 Queen Bed With Sofa Bed Nonsmoking Non Refundable. On both reservations the front desk manager of the Holiday Inn Express Barcelona told you that Travelocity used to charge for 3 persons in a room but only paid for 2 persons to them, so he would not honor the reservations. Travelocity policy says that all rooms are based on double occupancy Unfortunately Travelocity will not be able to honor any refund or compensation .
