Sears Informative - Defect in Sears Kenmore fridge
I purchased a Kenmore Ellite fridge and paid $1000.00 for it in October of 2009. I had used a Kenmore fridge for years and I did not buy the warranty. I noticed the fridge would mold my butter that I kept in the door. Shortly afterwards my daughter of 37 years and a Senior Chief in the Navy Reserves passed away. Unfortunely; at that point I did not think to much about the fridge. The fridge has become worse and does not stay cold at all, I can not keep milk, butter, and dare not put any meat in it. I keep the setting on the highest setting, but if I used an ice cooler it would be the same or better. I called Sears and the lady said there was nothing they could do except have a service person to come out and look at the fridge at my cost. I am going to have to buy another fridge and really soon. This is a defect and should be replaced.
