Pennys El Cajon Ca Complaint - Custom Drapery Nightmare - Ordered April 27 2011 Still Do Not Have It Is July 15 2011

In April 2011 the custom drapery expert from Pennys Fletcher Pkwy came to my house to measure for custom drapes in my kitchen and den area. It is now July 15, 2011. I still do not have the draperies.. Consultant promised me delivery within 6-8 weeks. I have had to call the department each time to inquire where my drapes are.. The common answers are they are in fabrication in Sacramento..We have changed our Sacramento drapery factory to North Carolina so there is a delay... then after those excuses is the material is defective... The consultant never called me ever.. The latest is that the material was defective and we are missing some pieces!!

So here I am in mid July waiting for someone to tell me when my draperies will be installed.

I am extremely disappointed in Pennys customer service, lack of communication and follow through.

This is a $3,000 order.. I just don't understand why I have not been treated better..

There may be a new problem at the mill where the fabric is produced. Not saying there is any excuse for them not contacting you, and letting you know the status.

You should contact corporate, and let them know about your situation.
