TiVo Complaint - Horrible Customer Service
I am always amazed in this day and age to find such horrible customer service. I cancelled my Tivo dervice in August of 2010 and unplugged my set. Then in July 2011 I got an email from them stating my service was set to renew, and when I checked online my service was still active and they had charged me again in September of 2010. It was my mistake that I didn't catch it on my bank statement, but when I called to cancel the second time they had no record of my first cancellation. When I asked when the set had last called in he said it had been over a year. Why would I keep a service and unplug it for a whole year. Since I didn't have my cancellation number a year later he said I was out of luck. Their web site isn't set up to cancel online so you have to call in, but then you call and they ignore you. They showed a total disregard for any customer service. I wouldn't use them again if they were the last company on the planet. Interesting to note that there are 55 complaints on here and 3 positive reviews, it makes me feel a little better that I'm not along.
