Home Depot Complaint - Poor Customer Service
BRAMPTON -- I went to Home Depot to buy something for my basement door that can stop mouse from entering my house. I didn't know much about it so I tried looking for a Home Depot person at the store. When I couldn't find one, I went to the counter and asked the lady there.. She announced and after sometime someone came to help me. He was rude the whole time. When I asked my question, he didn't even reply properly and just guided me to an aisle(he didn't even correctly remember the aisle number).While talking to me, he was in a hurry all the time. He kept looking around. Although there ws no other customer he had to attend still he kept putting me off and trying to get rid of me..I had 2 other qustions about my stairs and how to paint a garage door but he didn't answer properly. When I went to the aisle for my door, I started looking for the right thing..I had no idea what to look for. Finally I found one door sweeper and decided to buy that. There were 3 types of sweepers with prices ranging from 5.99 to 7.99..I picked the expensive one coz I wanted the best one. When I went to pay for it at the counter, the lady there said that it costed 15.99. She confirmed the price and it was still 15.99.I had no problem paying the price but they should mark the tags properly so that at least customer don't end up buying something double the price they thought it costed. I went to Lowe's once and had such a great experience. The Lowe's people are really very helpful. They give me tips how I can save money and still get my work done. I am totally not satisifed with Home Depot and probably won't ever go there to buy anything. Also I won't recommend it to anyone.
