Westjet Complaint - Baggage Handling

I was very disappointed with the way Westjet handled my baggage on a recent trip. They completely destroyed the roll-on mechanism of the suitcase rendering my new suitcase useless. It would have required a lot of force to cause that much damage.
It is almost impossible to make a claim for the damage because they put so many bumps along the way. It's a very arduous process. No wonder very few register a claim.
I would not recommend flying with them.
