CheapCarFinder Complaint - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Review by alextxus on 2005-06-25
Do not pay any money to those guys. This site comes very close to the definition of scam. On their home page http://www.cheapcarfinder.com one can "search" for a car make and see what they call "Sample Of Partial Inventory". That is just to trick you into signing up with them. There is NO database of cars they refer to. In fact, their so called "restricted area" is a very sloppy designed web page with just an outdated list of auction companies, most of which have very little or nothing to do with cars. You cannot even really limit search results to your area. And forget about being able to search for a specific car. There is absolutely nothing there that you would be unable to find on your own on Google within 5 minutes. The site was apparently built in a hurry quite a while ago and has never been updated ever since. I have been trying to get refund since the very day I signed up, but their "support" does not respond at all. The contact information on their site is limited to just one email address. I have an impression that there are no staff at Airon Corporation, MA, which owns the website, apart from Alexei Borisov (67A Norwood Ave., Newton Center, MA 02459, telephone 617-244-0636) and his Armenian buddy.
