Comfort Furniture Informative - Filed Chapter 11 - Furniture

Review by aladdin on 2011-07-22
MASSACHUSETTS -- For years I was happy to buy furniture from this store. I purchased furniture and 2 weeks later was sent a letter stating they had filed Chapter 11. They advised reaching their attorney and left a number - no calls have been returned. Have called their store and been told sooo many lies! Chapter 11 is about protecting them not consumers!

Contact your local BBB, file a consumer complaint with the Attorney General's Office, and tell your local newspapers... you may not get your furniture or money back, but at least, you can do something about their reputation!

Such an unscrupulous business!

If you paid by credit card, please take the letter they sent you to the nearest branch or ask where you can fax in a copy and initiate a charge back.

Do so as soon as you can. Good luck!

Yes, Chapter 11 IS about protecting the company here in America.

If you needed to declare personal bankruptcy, the same principle and protection applies.
