Lowe's Complaint - Lowe's bad carpet, bad customer service
Purchased Lowes commercial carpet for rental property. They installed it. 2 years later tenants moved out and carpet is unraveling in every room and coming apart at seams. Instead of honoring the warranty, I got the runaround from Lowe's customer service. Lowe's installed sales said they needed to come out and inspect the carpet. I made three appointments for them to do so. The obnoxious guy (so-called installed sales manager) left me waiting each time. He did not apologize. Finally, I called the store manager and this time he showed. He looked at the carpet, asked me if the tenants had had pets and when I told him they are not supposed to, he said nothing. I asked him result of my claim and he said he'd get back to me the following week. Nothing. I called him and had to wait another 2 days. Finally, he called and said he was denying the claim because the tenants probably had pets that damaged the carpet! What! He was to have someone else inspect. Nothing! Ugh!
