ARIA Resort & Casino Complaint - Aria Hotel have THIEVES for staff members
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA -- I am from California who took a trip to Las Vegas and arrived to Aria Hotel & Casino on July 3rd and stayed there until July 5th.
When I arrived to the resort and parked at the valid parking lot, the hotel's assistants insisted us to let them help carry our luggage to our room. They told us that it would be a 10 minute wait but when we arrived to our room, our luggage was still not there. About 20 minutes of waiting, my husband called the service to ask where our luggage was, and they only told us it would be coming soon. About more than half an hour later, it finally came. Before we checked anything, we went out first but when we came back and checked our suitcases, I discovered I had lost an expensive $2,000+ Chanel purse.
I filed a report with the hotel and they only told us to go home first and they would contact us if they had any news of my "lost" item. Only weeks later, I got a letter from them saying nobody turned in my purse into the lost and found but they were also "not liable for any lost items". I wrote them an email asking them if they at least had any cameras watching the luggage before the assistants brought it up and they called back saying they didn't have cameras and couldn't do anything about my stolen item even if their employees were the suspects.
It is obvious that Aria is a nice hotel so of course they would have cameras watching everything and their service SHOULD be top class. They said they are not liable for any lost items but it was obvious that their staff violated our privacy and had STOLEN a guest's belonging. They should be liable for stolen items and check into their staff more and not say "they don't have evidence" and actually try to look into people's needs more.
