Campell Soup Complaint - Sea salt - Campell soup

Review by Dianna Lynn on 2011-07-24
I grew on C soup and loved it. I continued to eat it until recently when you added that awful sea salt it makes the soup taste nasty!! I have high blood pressure and I ate it fine bf the sea salt ..if you take meds for high blood pressure it should not hurt you. Anyway please give us a choice make some with sea salt for the whinners and make your old time soup the old way. I cannot eat it anymore and that makes me sad. Becaue I loved Cample soup. So please consider giving us a choice ..after all even God gives us that.

Thank you.

So their soup is now only available with sea salt?

Have you ever considered making your own homemade soup? It's so easy and at least you'll know exactly what goes into it.

There are many complaints over the switch to sea salt. Campbell's also makes Heart Healthy soups that boast a low sodium content that you can season to taste if it is not salty enough for you.

I never liked C soup - too salty. I go with L soup instead.

Not to reduce the impact of your complaint, but I think it's good that something is being done 2 reduce the salt content in our food *generally speaking*. So much prepared food has historically been loaded with it.

I've only read good things about sea-salt.

In reality, ALL salt we use is sea salt. The great salt basins underground were once oceans. Just an observation, no implications
