Lowe's Complaint - Restocking broken merchandise
NORTHRIDGE, CA -- I have been shopping at Lowe's for at least ten years. I remodeled my entire house from there.
In the last year, I have not once bought an item from them that wasn't broken or had missing parts re-boxed as new and re-stocked. Once it was glass and nearly cut my fingers off. Every time I go there, I have to take something back because of it being broken or it has missing parts.
Once, when I returned a door knob with missing parts and it was back on the shelf before I got to the isle to replace it!!! One item I took back and told them that the product did not work as stated and the cashier told me it was Lowe's policy that they have to put it back on the shelf.
I don't know what CEO thinks it's OK to waste people's time by trying to resell returned products
that are broken or don't work and how long they think they will continue to have loyal customers when you spend more time driving back and forth to Lowe's than you spend enjoying your home.
I have a friend that works there that had knee surgery and she told me that Lowe's will not let cashiers sit down the entire 8 hours they work. There is an alleged law suit going on right now against Lowe's for this.
Based on the fact that they don't care about their employees and the fact that I'm sick of having to return everything I buy there, I am now going to stop shopping there. I will never go back.
