I have shopped in the Food Lion Store for over a year each and very time I walk in I buy chicken breast and have them split it. My wife does not like thick chicken breast. for the past few months they have done so without any problem. Sunday I ask to buy 10 chicken breast that were on sale for 1.79 per pound as advertised. I was told that I could not buy them and that the price was wrong. But the price was marked and a customer prior to me had just walked away paying the same price. There was no limit sign and no additional signs on how many I could purchase. then when I asked to get them sliced I was told that I was taken advantage of them. As a paying customer I found it shocking that they would mark a price, tell me I can't by the item and then tell the customer they were taking advantage of that price. I thought it was a sale price. but I guess if you don't fit there time limit on what they can and can't do you simply have to read between there lies.
if a price is marked then it should remain that price... and if you don't like your job meat man quit.
