Target Complaint - Lousy Return Policy
CORPORATE, MINNESOTA -- Bought a gazebo in April (last year they sold out) needed help putting it together- In July had help and went to put it together. It was too small and wouldn't be able to be secured. I went to return it, after all, it was: 1. unopened 2. had a receipt 3. still for sale on their shelves/online. But you guessed it, 3 weeks past the 90 days so "so sorry, nothing we can do" made some "customer service"phone calls "so sorry, nothing we can do". Really- a multi-billion dollar business can't offer me store credit?
They did offer me the name of the manufacturer and their phone number, but even the representative at target couldn't explain how that would in any way help me. Buyer beware- wish I'd seen this site earlier and tried the no receipt option first! so sadly, I add my story to this and other websites.
