Americas Test Kitchen Complaint - Charged for book not ordered

Review by Disaster Worker on 2011-07-27
For the 3rd year in a row, Americas Test Kitchen sent a book not ordered and now they have sent a collection notice from a 3rd party collector. Attempts to contact ATK for several months have failed and they have ignored all the "return receipt requested" letters we have sent.

If you get any of these books unsolicited, keep good records of how you returned them.

If you are sent an unsolicited item in the mail, by law you are not required to pay for it even if you decide to keep it.

Did you purchase a book from them in the past that signed you up for a type of club where they would send you future shipments for you to look at and then pay for if you decided to keep the item.

On their website they have a format in which you can send an email to them. Have you tried that route? Hope you get this resolved soon.
